The End of the Games
Katniss and Peeta must make a life and death decision at the end of the Games once the Gamemakers once again change the rules. What do you think of their decision? Should they have done something differently? Why or why not? What do you think the consequences will be of outsmarting the Capitol?

I think peeta thought that it was over love and they wanted to die together. Katniss was going to do it because she wanted to get back at the capitol and blow it up in their faces. No, they did the right thing. because if they bothe would of died there would be no victor and the capitol would be blammed. There will be no consequences if they act like the death together was out of love not rebellion against the capitol.

I think what Peeta and Katniss chose to do. If only one lived that person would have to suffer the mental pain that they killed one of their companions. If they chose not to eat the berries and not to kill each other the gamemakers would have to send out the mutants again. But in that case the mutants could kill both of them and their would be no victor for the capitol.

I think that their decisions were right because the Capitol needed to be tricked. It was not fair that they can just keep on changing the rules like that. I think nothing should be changed because it was a perfect plan. I think that there should be no consequences for there actions because the tributes should not be treated like dolls and they are humans too.

I thought Peeta and Katniss' choice and the end of the games was very unique becuase I would never of thought to do that. I do not think there was any other good solution because if they use weapons Katniss and Peeta will not be able to undo their choice. I think they have made the capitol mad by outsmarting the careers and will have to make better choices. Katniss and Peeta might have to go to jail for outsmarting the careers.

I think Katniss was very clever the think of the idea about the poisonous berries. If I was her I would have never thought of it. The only thing I would've thought of is just waiting for the games to end after the 2 weeks. Just try to survive with Peeta. Also, I think that the Capitol will be mad at Katniss, but not Peeta.

I thought that it was an extremely smart move on their part. It was very out of the ordinary and very intelligent to out smart the capital like that. I don't think they should have done it any differently then they did because if they did something else then they might have not have gotten the chance to live because they wouldn't have been able to take it back like they took the berries out of their mouths just in time. I think that the capitol might just make their life miserable and make them have to sacrifice something of just take something very special away like Prim for Katniss.

I think Peeta did not know what Katniss was thinking. I think he loved her so much he would do anything for her. Katniss knew the caitol would be mad either way. I think the consequences might come later to them taking the house away. Or maybe even to the next tribute in district 12.

I think Peeta was going to kill himself and Katniss kills herself so they can be together. They could have done somthing diffrently, because another desion would be is to not do anything, and just wait. The consenquence is that if they won't kill each other then they would get killed by the gamemakers and no one won the games.

i think it was a good idea to chcnge the rules but i also think it is unfair because they might just be doing it for kattniss and peeta, because they are star crossed lovers according to the capitol. but if they didnt change the rules peeta might end up dying from his seriouse cut from Cato and he cant rely on kattniss to save him.

I think that i would rather have us both die then just one, because its not really fair if one dies, but they were both supposed to win. I think the capitol will be very mad and may have very big consequences, but i liked their idea of outsmarting them.

i think that if they both died that it would of had a better ending. the life or death sittuation that they were in, i thought it was a good decision to make of them. if one died it would be worse than if they both died.

ReplyDeleteI think that they made the right deision because the Capitol tricked them so they tricked the Capitol back. If they hadn't done this Peeta would've died and then Katniss would've felt lonely. Since they did this it made the Capitol a little mad but they were fine after the exit interview. This way Katniss can live in harmony and feel that she had saved Peeta's life and be happy with it.

I think there decision was very smart. The only I would be nervous about if I were them is that the Capitol would have revenge for tricking them. I really don't think that Capitol could much to them or else the citizens could become mad. Overall I think that their idea was the best way for both of them to survive.

I think they made they best decision they could at the time.It worked, they are both alive. There is not much they could have done different.They both would die for each other. Outsmarting the capitol will have its consequences. Katniss came up with the idea and the capitol does not like that she rebelled against them on TV. They will have it out for her.

I think Peeta and Katniss outsmarted the capitol. This decision was very tricky. But the Capitol would have thought no fair and made more tributes join. I would have never thought of that plan. Although if Katniss and Peeta were the only ones left they could have just kinda lived there untill they changed the rules so they both win and no body dies.

I think that Katniss and Peeta made a bad decision by doing what they did. Yes, they did outsmart the Capitol, but was it worth it? Now they live in bigger fear than ever of the Capitol. If I were in their shoes, I would let nature take it's toll, and the strongest would win. That way I woudnt have blood on my hands, and I wouldn't have to cower more than ever in front of the Capitol.

If I were Katniss or Peeta I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing that I killed someone I loved for my life. I might have done something different because they didn't know for sure if they were going to change the rules. I think that the capitol is not going to punish them because they are the ones who changed the rules its not Katniss and Peetas fult.

I think that they made the right desicion because they fought to the end with each other and they can't just let the Capitol have no Victors. Also they were told to make a good show and they did! No, they shouldn't have done any different because they made the Capitol worried that they wouldn't have a Victor. I think they will not get punished because it wasn't them who changed the rules and it's not their fault, they couldn't do anything about it.

They made the right descion by outsmarting the capitol. Beacause Katniss or Peeta will not have to kill either one, so they will both win. Also the Capitol might punish them because they outsmarted him by not giving them their own home.
ReplyDeleteI think that what Katniss and Peete did was a good idea. Because Katniss had to keep the act up of being star crossed lovers, she did not want to kill Peeta. I also think that she does like Peeta and that its not all an act. I dont think that they should be punished because they made the rule change in the first place, and then they change it again.

I think that what they did at the end of the book was a good idea. I think that the Capital will only punish or threaten Katniss, because she is the one who brought out the Nightlock. I think that Katniss starts to realize that she really does have feelings for Peeta. Their relationship, I think, will end up with them getting married.

I think their decision was very sweet, cute, and it showed how much Peeta and Katniss loved each other. I don't think they should have done something differently because it was perfect the way they did it and it also made the situation better by giving the Capitol a slap in the face! I don't think Peeta will end up getting a punished because he wasn't the one who thought of the idea. I think Katniss will get a punishment though, but I have no idea what it will be!

DeleteI think that their decision was definitely the right one. I don't think they should have done anything differently to it, they made it out alive and together that's very good. It showed that they couldn't live without each other or kill one another, it showed that they truly cared for one another even if Katniss doesn't want to think about it, it's obvious they have some sort of affection for each other. Also I think that they might get punished because the Capitol might think its rebellion...

I think they made the best decision, and they couldn't of made a better decision because if they would of ate the berries there would be no winner and then there may be no more Hunger Games. Also it shows that it would be very difficult to live without one another. I think that Katniss will be punished by the Capitol because it was her idea to eat the berries, but Peeta may be punished because he followed along with her plan.

I think Katniss and peeta made a good decision to show the capitol they were going to die and there would be no victor. I think they handled it great to show that you cant control them and to make the capitol mad. They should have done some think differently because it was planed. Katniss can get in trouble for try to kill each other so there would be no victor. Peeta could get in trouble for listing and agreeing to katniss' plan. The punishments for out smarting the capitol should be instant dear to prove that the districts can not out rise.

katniss and peeta decided to eat the berries that poisoned foxface because they both coulnt imagine going home to district 12 alone they were going to die together. i think they made a good choice because it was very rebellious twords the capitol they wouldnt end up with any winners the only problem with it is now that the capitol saved both of them katnisss and peeta are in a bad position because the capitol is mad at them.

The decision they make comes back to haunt them but not for the reason they intended it for. So I think they made the right decision at the time, but later I would think otherwise. I am amazed they thought of it so fast. I would of thought it out a little more before going through with it. I think the capital will like them more but the goverment will probaly try to kill one of them.

Katniss and Peeta made the biggest decision of there lives in that moment. There will sure be punishment from the capitol either towords their families or to them. Peeta got the better of the deal though 1) because he didn't come up with the plan and 2) that his family isn't as improtant to him as Katniss is.

I think that they will defiantly punish Peeta and Katniss. I don't think they will kill them because it will make the capitol look bad and people will start a rebellion.But now that they have outsmarted the capitol that they will instead of leaving them alone and not have any cameras around them when they return home, that they will have little cameras looking at them to make sure they are still in love.

I do think that Peeta and Katniss did the correct thing because they are the star crossed lovers from what the capital had said. The star crossed lovers CAN'T live without each other, and they need a Victor to win the Hunger Games each year. They should not have changed a thing because they both made it out alive and are still the star crossed lovers. If the capital does decide to punish Katniss and Peeta they would have to be smart about what they do because they don't want to look bad. Therefor they most likely won't kill Katniss or Peeta but they could kill other family members to make them suffer.

DeleteThe Gamemakers made there decision because they knew they needed a winner. The plan was ruined by Katniss while she outsmarted the Gamemakers. This could result in hate from the Capitol and Threats. It was smart by Katniss to not kill peeta because she cared for him

I think that they made the right decision for many reasons. If they didnt make the threat and one of them died the surviver would've not been able to live with him/herself. Also, There actions said that they were not pecies of the Capitols games. Even though there will be punishments, (i think) this action might have waken some people up to realize that this act of killing is wrong.

I think they made the right decision. The capitol lied to them so they outsmarted them. They wanted to show the capitol that they don't have control over them. They also wanted to show that killing is wrong.

I would have killed Peeta right then and there. He is useless with his fake leg. And Katniss' life would be normal and the capitol wouldn't be trying to kill them both. I mean they both lived but now the capitol wants to kill them both so what is the point of saving Peeta if the leader of of the capitol hates them. if katniss would've killed Peeta the capitol wouldn't have wanted to kill her.
